As he considers whether to throw his hat into the ring for NYC Mayor, restaurant owner Peter Guimares — who organized the massive rally with restaurant workers in Times Square on December 15 — has decided to keep his campaign lean.

The owner of the famed NYC eatery BiCE says it’s just like the restaurant budgets he & his fellow restaurant owners have managed for years.

His early decisive action is to forgo a traditional Campaign Manager, and instead focus on talking to as many New Yorkers, small business owners, and restaurant owners impacted by the nearly 12-month lockdown on New Yorkers.

His early hires are rumored to be experienced Campaign communication staff who will help get his message out across the five boroughs — including savvy former TV production staff from a major cable news network. More announcements will be made in the coming weeks.
